Hawk Eye develops Rectoly, an app for reading, annotating, and syncing academic PDFs with a reference manager. It comes in two editions — Rectoly for Mendeley and Rectoly for Zotero — for iPad and iPhone, Mac, Android, Windows, and Linux. Use this page to get help with any of them.

For support questions, bug reports, or feedback, email us at support@rectoly.com. We reply within two business days (weekdays, Japan time).

Please include the edition (Mendeley or Zotero), your device and operating system version, and the Rectoly version (Settings → About) when reporting a problem. Settings → Troubleshooting can export a diagnostic bundle to attach; it holds no paper text and no annotations.

Security

To report a vulnerability, email the same address. Please give us time to fix it before publishing details; we will not take legal action against good-faith research. The machine-readable contact is at /.well-known/security.txt.

Purchases and billing

Rectoly is a one-time purchase after a 14-day trial, and one purchase unlocks the same edition on all of your devices. Who handles the payment depends on where you bought it:

To use a purchase on another device, sign in there with the same Mendeley or Zotero account and choose Settings → Purchase → Restore.
